Over $3,000 raised for local youth programs!
Our Youth United group did it again! The Stillwater Area High School was filled with community, connection, and a lot of heart during their Youth for Youth event. Guests enjoyed delicious soups, breads, and desserts, bid on silent auction items, and tried their luck at the raffle table - thank you to all of our generous donors!
During the program, Youth United member Amelia Kozlowski shared a powerful reminder of why this work matters. She highlighted that nearly 3 out of every 10 students report experiencing long-term mental health challenges lasting six months or more. But there's hope - when young people feel connected to friends, their school, and caring adults, their mental health outcomes improve.
As Amelia shared, "Youth United is about more than volunteering or planning events; it's about building community and showing up for each other. And when adults show up for youth, it makes a meaningful difference."
Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported the auction and raffle, or brought underwear donations for St. Andrew's Community Resource Center. We are so grateful for this community and the way you show up!
